Pancake love

Nutella, Strawberry Pancakes. Need I say more?
This combonation is just delicious. A fresh warm pancake, filled with nutella chocolate and freshly sliced strawberries..is definitely a little bit of heaven. I don't know if it's the exam and work stress but recently I keep getting pancake cravings. Or maybe I'm just in love with these pancakes. Since I'm on a pancake 'rave' at the moment I'd love to know what your favourite pancakes are? Any recommendations?

Life lately

The photo above of my packed out heavy bag pack explains the past week pretty well. Blood, sweat and tears. But alas! I handed in my dissertation and made it out alive! I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.. I think. 

Good luck to everyone who is in the middle of exams and deadlines at the moment, you can do it!

Hello May

Hello lovely people. I apologise for the lack of posts recently. Only a month left and I shall be free from a million deadlines, which I am currently buried under! The weather has been rather lovely this week, so I just had to take a day out to relax and enjoy the sun. I think taking breaks in between is always a good idea to keep you going and to keep stress levels down. We should remind ourselves not to get so wrapped in work that we forget to enjoy the little things in life. :)

I found this lovely blouse in good ol' Primark. And my ankle boots were on sale for £15 from H&M. 

Total bargain right?!

Pineapple Green Tea

Oh yes, I'm back at Patisserie Valerie. I just love the atmosphere of this Cafe and not to mention the great food! Green tea is one my most favourite types of tea. I ordered the organic green tea and the waiter told me that their green tea now has pineapple bits in it. Pineapple? Hmm, I had never thought of this combo with green tea but thought it'd be interesting to try. Once it arrived, i took a sip and my oh my, how have I never tried this? It was absolutely lovely! I loved the tropical and fruity sweetness the pineapple added to it. If you find pure green tea too bitter, this might be a better option. Or if you're a green tea lover like myself then you will definitely love this. Ok, pineapple green tea rave over!

Sping&Blossoms

 Ah it's been over a week since I've posted! And I've missed it as well as you lovely people who visit my little blog. Let's just say I got buried in a few deadlines. I'm back at University this week, after Easter break. However, it didn't really feel like much of a break, with the amount of work I had to complete and still have to do. Ahh. Just a few weeks left and it shall all be over but let's not talk about that. The thought of four years of University coming to an end so soon is rather scary. How time flies?! Any-hoo looks like spring is finally here in England! Surprisingly, the last couple of days have actually been warm and I've been spotting blossoms. Hurraaay for blossom trees, which are always so pretty to photograph!

Hello April

I hope you bring sunnier and warmer days. I also hope you don't fly by too fast as I have a dissertation and several deadlines to complete! Oh and I hope you allow me to take lots of lovely photos and keep up with blogging.

My little bag

Meet my little bag.

Most my bags are pretty big and oversized. I like to carry a lot of things in my bag like Mary Poppins! (I might just do another what's in my bag post for that!) Anyway today I didn't need to be carrying much with me. So I looked in my wardrobe for a smaller bag and came across this bag which I bought quite a while back but still haven't used. I absolutely loved this bag when I saw it and had to buy it and did I mention it was only £5! Yes five pounds! Anyway thought I'd share my favourite little bag with you guys! I love it's shape and vintage look.

Shortbread cookies

I love shortbread biscuits they are so simple to make yet really delicious! I thought I'd try something different this time and dip them in some chocolate and sprinkles! 

All you need is: 

228g Butter

100g White Sugar

250g flour

1tsp Vanilla extract

Chocolate&Sprinkles

Follow my simple photo-tutorial below!

Pop them in the oven for 10-12 minutes until they are light brown. Take them out and leave them to cool. Melt some chocolate, dip half of the cookie in, add some sprinkles and refrigerate for a while.And there you have it, quick yummy cookies!

I'm off to make my self a warm drink and munch on some now. England is going through a pretty crazy weather phase at the moment. Strong winds, rain and snow. It's hard to believe we're in Spring, feels more like Winter!

Time

Time is what I seem to be running out of lately. This week has been pretty busy hence the lack of posting. Being in final year of University, the work load is pretty heavy and draining. Thus keeping on top of everything can be pretty difficult at times. It really is a coincidence that my pictures seem to fit in with what I'm talking about haha. Anyway I picked up this lovely vintage style watch from Urban Outfitters this week. I've been eyeing it up for a while now. I instantly fell in love with the red colour and the simplicity of it. Oh I do love watches, especially anything that looks or is vintage.
