last Friday we had some surprising unexpected March snow, but it gave the perfect backdrop to these flowers.

Friday flowers

I really can't help myself from photographing flowers when they're in the house. They're so simple yet so beautiful. And they are the simplest way of bringing a little bit of nature in to the home. I think flowers are a statement and example that some of the most beautiful things in life are the simplest of things, and that no materialistic item can outweigh the beauty of nature.
